Landmark Strategy Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Melanie Mayfield as its new Director of Compliance. Mayfield brings more than a decade of experience in compliance, risk management, and business operations within the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry.
Her appointment strengthens our compliance leadership as we continue to purchase and manage consumer debt portfolios while maintaining responsible business practices.
Melanie Mayfield’s Professional Background
Mayfield has held several leadership positions in the receivables industry. Her experience includes managing audits, reviewing company policies, training teams, and helping organizations meet state and federal requirements.
Before joining Landmark, Mayfield served as Director of Compliance at Shepherd Outsourcing. In this role, she managed compliance reviews, handled internal investigations, and helped prepare for client and state audits.
She also worked as a Network Compliance Analyst at EverChain, where she reviewed regulatory changes, checked compliance records, and supported business decisions.
Earlier in her career, Mayfield served as Director of Compliance at Sequium Asset Solutions and National Credit Systems. She also held the position of Vice President of Compliance and Corporate Services at NCC Business Services.
These roles have given her experience in developing compliance programs, leading teams, and helping businesses identify and manage risks.
Mayfield also holds professional certifications, including Certified Receivables Compliance Professional (CRCP), Credit and Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO), and Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM).
Her Role at Landmark Strategy Group
In her new position, Mayfield will help oversee our compliance activities, including internal reviews, policy updates, and monitoring changes in industry regulations.
She will also work with our teams and third-party collection partners to help ensure compliance requirements are followed throughout the account management process.
Her knowledge of the receivables industry will be valuable as we review existing procedures, address potential risks, and make improvements to our daily operations.
Continuing Our Commitment to Responsible Practices
At Landmark Strategy Group, compliance is an important part of how we purchase and manage debt portfolios. We are an RMAI Certified Receivables Business and have completed a SOC 2 Type 1 examination, reflecting our focus on industry standards and data security.
Bringing Mayfield into this leadership role is another step in supporting these standards. Her experience will help us maintain clear processes, protect consumer information, and meet our responsibilities to creditors, collection partners, and consumers.
We look forward to the experience and knowledge Melanie brings to our team as we continue building a business focused on compliance, accountability, and responsible debt management.
